Run the fiat rails. Earn the 1%.
Bridge operators connect card payments and bank withdrawals to the on-chain protocol, and earn 1% of every commission they process. Fiat is not the chain’s job — it is yours, in the regions you already serve.
Stake tiers & volume caps
Stake NJORD to unlock higher daily-volume caps. Start small in a new region and scale as throughput grows.
| Tier | Stake | Daily cap | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 10,000 NJORD | $10K / day | Entry tier for a new region or a pilot. |
| Silver | 50,000 NJORD | $100K / day | Steady regional volume. |
| Gold | 200,000 NJORD | $1M / day | High-throughput operators. |
| Platinum | 500,000 NJORD | Unlimited | No daily cap; can also submit governance proposals. |
Questions
+ What does a bridge operator earn?
The 1% bridge fee on every commission you process, paid on-chain when the conversion settles. Higher stake tiers unlock larger daily-volume caps.
+ What do I actually run?
The @njord/bridge-sdk with a Docker-friendly deploy. It standardizes attribution submission and fee accounting between your fiat rails and the on-chain program.
+ Which regions can I serve?
Any region where you can operate fiat rails (cards, bank transfers). Onboarding is permissionless — stake into a tier and register. KYC is handled where your jurisdiction requires it, on the bridge side.
+ How is my stake at risk?
Stake secures honest operation and unlocks volume caps. Governance sets slashing rates within bounded ranges; misbehavior can be challenged on-chain.
Deploy a bridge
The bridge SDK ships with a Docker compose file. Register on devnet, wire your rails, and process a test attribution.
